Eknath Shinde teases Maharashtra poll date, NDA seat-sharing update

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced that state assembly polls are expected to be held in the second week of November.

Shinde mentioned that seat-sharing among ruling allies will be finalized in the next 8 to 10 days.

He suggested a two-phase poll for the 288-member state assembly, emphasizing merit and good strike rate for seat-sharing.

The Mahayuti government, comprising Shiv Sena, BJP, and NCP, is focused on development and welfare measures.

Shinde expressed confidence in the government’s support among women and its commitment to the common man.

1.5 lakh youth received job appointment letters under the skilled training program, aiming to cover 10 lakh youth.

Financial assistance under Ladki Bahin scheme has reached 1.6 crore women, with plans to extend it to 2.5 crore women.

The government aims to make Mumbai slum-free and provide affordable housing for all with the help of various agencies.
