Amid the devastating aftermath of Typhoon Yagi, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet has reached out to express his heartfelt condolences to Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam for the extensive damage caused by the natural disaster.
Expressing sympathy for the heavy casualties and property damage suffered by these countries, Hun Manet addressed letters to the respective leaders, offering support and solidarity during this challenging time.
Widespread flooding in Myanmar has led to at least 113 fatalities and 64 individuals reported as missing. Meanwhile, in Thailand, many lives have been lost, injuries sustained, and properties damaged due to the catastrophic floods. Vietnam, too, has faced casualties and significant infrastructure destruction.
The Cambodian Prime Minister’s messages of support and comfort aim to stand in solidarity with the affected nations and their people, expressing hope for a speedy recovery and the ability to overcome this natural disaster with resilience.
