Azerbaijan is gearing up for an export mission to Pakistan at the end of this year or in early 2025, according to Yusif Abdullayev, the Executive Director of AZPROMO. This mission comes as part of the Preferential Trade Agreement between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, aiming to enhance trade cooperation between the two countries outside of the oil sector.
During a recent business forum in Baku, representatives identified logistics, food and agriculture, tourism, and the textile industry as priority sectors for collaboration. This partnership between Azerbaijan and Pakistan holds great potential for private companies in these areas, and efforts are being made to capitalize on this through trade incentives.
Abdullayev emphasized the importance of fostering ties at the private sector level, underscoring the need for strategic initiatives to boost bilateral trade. With plans in motion for the export mission, Azerbaijan is looking forward to deepening its economic relations with Pakistan in the coming months.
