Tragedy struck the Ukrainian Black Sea port city of Odesa as two people lost their lives in a missile attack, amidst escalating tensions between Moscow and Kyiv. Ukrainian air force successfully shot down 10 drones and one missile launched by Russia, but the devastation continued.
Oleh Kiper, the regional governor of Odesa, confirmed the deaths of a married couple in the attack, with one person also wounded. In Kharkiv, a Russian aerial bomb hit a residential building, injuring 41 people and damaging multiple structures.
Russian Defense Ministry reported downing 29 Ukrainian drones, highlighting the ongoing conflict between the two nations. Ukraine called on the West for permission to use long-range missiles provided by them to target Russian territories, emphasizing the need for increased support.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy urged for strong backing to defend against Russian aggression, stressing the importance of advanced weaponry and international assistance in ending the war.
As the situation remains dire, the plea for solidarity and aid in the face of Russian aggression grows more urgent.
