Ukraine’s FM: The West need not fear Putin.

In a recent post on social media, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha emphasized that Russian leader Vladimir Putin’s threats should not deter Western allies from supporting Ukraine. Despite Putin’s warning of “unseen consequences” if Ukraine received weapons for defense, he took no action when the West provided support. Sybiha highlighted Putin’s pattern of empty threats, citing previous instances where he failed to act on his warnings.

Sybiha urged allies to strengthen their support for Ukraine by lifting restrictions and enhancing its military capabilities, economic resilience, and energy security. He emphasized the importance of bravery in standing up to Putin’s threats, as fear and inaction only lead to further crises and casualties. By confronting strength with strength, allies can deter Putin and work towards restoring peace in the region.

It is crucial for Western allies to not be swayed by Putin’s tactics and instead focus on bolstering Ukraine’s defenses and overall stability. Joining forces to support Ukraine is essential in countering Putin’s attempts to weaken international support for the country.
