Tata Power Solar installs rooftop solar at 600 locations in Chhattisgarh

Tata Power Solar Systems Ltd (TPSSL) has made significant strides in promoting clean energy in Chhattisgarh by installing rooftop solar systems at over 600 locations. The initiative, ‘GharGharSolar, Tata Power ke Sang’, aims to provide sustainable energy solutions to households across the state. The project was officially launched by top executives of Tata Power Company and Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd.

Chhattisgarh has become a key area for TPSSL, with over 600 installations totaling more than 250 MW capacity. The initiative will cover all 33 districts of the state, offering residents access to central government subsidies under the PM Surya Ghar Yojana. These subsidies make solar energy installations more affordable, with grants ranging from Rs 30,000 to Rs 78,000 based on the system’s capacity.

By providing clean energy solutions and financial support, TPSSL is paving the way for Chhattisgarh residents to embrace renewable energy without financial constraints. This project showcases TPSSL’s commitment to sustainable energy solutions and promoting a greener future for India.
