Shettima headlines APC rally for Edo guber poll

Vice President Kashim Shettima led a delegation of top APC leaders to Benin for the final push ahead of the Edo governorship election on September 21. The rally saw the presence of Senate President Godswill Akpabio, National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje, and state governors.

Shettima praised the APC candidate, Monday Okpebholo, highlighting his leadership qualities. Emphasizing unity and peace, he stated the importance of signing the peace accord for the progress of Edo.

Ganduje urged the electorate to vote for Okpebholo, expressing confidence in the party’s vision for the state. The APC candidate promised to revive the economy, focusing on education, security, healthcare, and agriculture.

With plans to employ teachers, provide loans to farmers, and address infrastructure, Okpebholo aims to bring positive change to Edo. Other party stalwarts, including Akpabio and Oshiomhole, also rallied support for the APC.
