Shocking Incident in Gujranwala: Police Allegedly Shielding Abusers of Schoolgirls
In a disturbing case in Gujranwala, police officials are accused of protecting the perpetrators behind the abuse of five schoolgirls, preventing justice for the victims. The girls, aged 12 to 14, were initially afraid to speak out but one girl bravely informed her family, leading to police involvement. Despite filing cases, the victims’ families expressed frustration over the lack of police assistance.
During an episode of ARY News’ program “Sar-e-Aam,” the mothers of the girls recounted their grievances, highlighting the perpetrators’ wives’ complicity in blaming the victims. The school, situated in a house, had a teacher staying on the upper floor, allowing the abuser to exploit the situation by luring girls downstairs under false pretenses.
Imran, the accused, worked in the school canteen and is married to a teacher. He confessed to his crimes, with explicit content found on his phone. The abuse took place at the Government Non-Formal Education School on September 5, 2024, where Imran had been preying on girls for years.
