Shocking news has emerged from Bushbuckridge, where a Community Policing Forum (CPF) executive member has been arrested for tampering with a crime scene, ultimately leading to the defeat of justice. The incident unfolded after a family was attacked by three suspects, resulting in the tragic death of a woman and injuries to three others.
Fortunately, one family member managed to disarm one of the assailants during the struggle. Neighbors, including the CPF members who also serve as security guards, intervened to assist. However, a 36-year-old CPF member allegedly took the firearm from the assailant and then attempted to conceal it.
Despite initially denying any involvement, the CPF member eventually led the police to where the firearm was hidden. The CPF member and the assailant were both arrested, while the police continued their search for the other two suspects who fled the scene.
The discovery of a firearm with police insignia engraved on it raises further questions and adds a mysterious twist to the already complex case. With 28 spent cartridge cases collected from the scene, the investigation is ongoing to unravel the full extent of the incident.
