Trump to speak at Israeli-American Council Summit in DC, courting Jewish vote

Former U.S. President Donald Trump is scheduled to speak at the Israeli-American Council (IAC) National Summit in Washington, aiming to gain support from Jewish and Israeli-American voters before the upcoming election. President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have also been invited but have yet to confirm their attendance.

The IAC National Summit, the largest pro-Israel conference in the U.S., is expected to attract around 4,000 participants, including students. The event will honor the victims and heroes of the October 7 attack, nearly a year after the tragedy.

The summit will feature tributes to heroes, survivors, and hostages’ families, as well as discussions on IDF ethics in combat and the U.S.-Israel alliance. Key topics include Jewish identity, antisemitism, Israeli innovation, and the Israeli-American experience.

Notable speakers include journalist Douglas Murray, former Hamas hostage Andrei Kozlov, Crown Prince of Iran Reza Pahlavi, and many more. The event aims to unite the community against antisemitism and to show solidarity with Israel in the face of challenges.

IAC CEO Elan Carr emphasized the importance of coming together to support Israel and honor those affected by the tragic events, highlighting the theme of unity among the participants.
