Illegal Israeli Settlers Kill 72 Sheep in the West Bank

Illegal Israeli settlers have killed 72 sheep by poisoning their drinking water in the northwestern Jericho area of the occupied West Bank. This malicious act was aimed at local shepherds, Suleiman and Mohammed Ali Mleihat, by contaminating the water supply used by their sheep.

Hassan Mleihat, the general supervisor of the Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, condemned this attack as part of a series of assaults by settlers to pressure and displace Palestinian farmers from their lands. The Palestinian government’s Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission reported similar incidents of violence and land confiscation by Israeli settlers.

The escalating tensions in the West Bank come in the wake of a devastating military offensive on Gaza, which has resulted in numerous casualties. The International Court of Justice recently ruled Israel’s occupation of Palestinian land as unlawful, calling for the evacuation of all settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.

It is crucial for the international community to intervene and stop the illegal seizure of Palestinian land by Israeli settlers to ensure peace and justice in the region.
