Iran achieves another milestone in its space program with the successful launch of a research satellite into orbit. Launched aboard the Qaem-100 space launch vehicle, the satellite now orbits at an altitude of 550 kilometers above Earth’s surface.
Designed and built by the Space Group of Iranian Electronics Industries in collaboration with the IRGC’s Aerospace Force, the satellite represents a significant technological achievement for the country.
In a message, Major General Hossein Salami praised the launch as a national accomplishment and highlighted the cooperation between the government and the IRGC. He expressed Iran’s commitment to advancing its space program despite attempts by enemies to undermine the country’s dignity and strength.
This successful launch marks Iran’s second satellite launch this year, demonstrating the country’s growing capabilities in space technology.
