Storm Boris has caused devastating floods in Romania, claiming the lives of four people. Central and Eastern Europe have also been impacted by high winds and heavy rains since Thursday.

In Galati, Romania, 5,000 homes were damaged, with four bodies discovered in the worst affected region. The Romanian President emphasized the urgent need to address the consequences of climate change.

Across other countries like the Czech Republic, Austria, and Slovakia, thousands of incidents have been recorded, with power outages and evacuations reported. The situation is considered a catastrophe of epic proportions.
