US okays 4.4M deal for tank trailers to Israel

The US has approved a $164.4 million arms deal with Israel, including heavy-duty tank trailers to be delivered in 2027, in efforts to strengthen Israel’s self-defense capabilities. The State Department emphasized the US commitment to Israel’s security and national interests in the sale.

The Pentagon confirmed the approval of the arms sale, consisting of heavy tank trailers and related equipment, valued at $164.6 million. This move comes amidst reports of the US transferring significant amounts of weapons and military equipment to Israel, including armored vehicles and munitions.

With over 50,000 tons of military support already provided during the conflict, the US-Israel partnership remains strong. This latest arms deal underscores the strategic alliance between the two nations in upholding regional security.
