Competition for popular majors like computer science has intensified in recent years, with an increase in university placements and a challenging job market. Fan reveals that many of his classmates also wanted to switch majors, but only those with the top grades were successful.
It’s evident that students in China are now more focused on pursuing careers that align with their interests and future prospects, highlighting the evolving landscape of higher education in the country.
