The 14th meeting of BRICS representatives commenced under the leadership of Russian Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu. This year, Russia holds the BRICS chairmanship, hosting the gathering in the Marble Hall of the Konstantinovsky Palace.
Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Secretary, Ali Akbar Ahmadian, participated in the BRICS Security Summit and engaged in discussions with counterparts from Russia, China, and Venezuela.
Following these meetings, Ahmadian had a separate discussion with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The focus of the talks included shaping the future world order, fostering multipolarity, and enhancing coordination amidst global uncertainties.
Putin highlighted the significance of the upcoming BRICS summit in Kazan, Russia, inviting robust participation from member countries to deepen partnerships across various sectors. The discussions aim to solidify agreements and strengthen cooperation among BRICS nations.
