Breaking News: Police Operations in Kaduna Lead to Arrests and Neutralization
The Kaduna State Police Command has made significant strides in combatting crime in the area, with the recent detention of one suspected kidnapper, and five notorious armed robbers, as well as the neutralization of another armed robber.
According to ASP Mansir Hassan, the spokesperson for the command, the arrests were made during Operation Fushi Kada, which intercepted a notorious armed robbery syndicate along the Karji/Sabon Tasha axis of the state. A fierce gun battle ensued, resulting in the capture of five suspects and the serious injury of another, identified as Christopher Bobai, also known as “Baban Dodo”.
Among the items recovered from the suspects were pistols, camouflage uniforms, cutlasses, SIM cards, and various other incriminating items. In a separate operation, police apprehended a suspected kidnapper, Saidu Inusa, who confessed to multiple kidnappings in the area and was found in possession of an AK-47 rifle.
