The leader of the opposition in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Dr. Ibadullah, criticized the treasury benches for wanting to hand over the country to elected representatives while only seeking talks with the establishment. He condemned Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur’s recent speech against the establishment and media personnel, urging politicians to give space to each other.
Dr. Ibadullah emphasized the importance of law and order in the province, pointing out protests in various districts. He highlighted the need for the government to address these issues promptly.
The session also saw discussions on mistreatment of institutions, with members from both sides expressing concerns. The provincial minister for higher education, Meena Khan, highlighted the improvements in law and order under the PTI government and called for collaboration to address pending arrears and enhance security in the province.
The session concluded with plans to reconvene the following day for further discussions and resolutions.
