Iran Vows Severe Response to Terrorist Attack in Sistan and Balouchestan
Iran’s Defense Minister Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh has promised a harsh response to the perpetrators of a recent terrorist attack in the southeastern province of Sistan and Balouchestan. The attack resulted in the death of three Iranian border guards.
The Jaish al-Adl terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the attack. Nasirzadeh expressed condolences for the fallen forces and condemned the actions of the terrorist group, pointing to their connections with external forces.
Jaish al-Adl, known for its activities in Pakistan, has carried out multiple attacks in Iran, including one in April where five police officers lost their lives.
