Hezbollah retaliates against Israeli forces with drone attack
Hezbollah announced the attack on an Israeli military base near Safed using drones in response to an incident in Kfarjouz, Lebanon. The strike resulted in casualties among Israeli forces, prompting retaliatory airstrikes by the Israeli army in southern Lebanon.
Hezbollah targeted the Filon base and the Beria barracks, causing power outages and fires in Safed. This operation was in retaliation for the Israeli massacre in Kfarjouz, where three people were killed, including two Hezbollah fighters. Israeli claims of raiding an Iranian weapons facility in Syria were denied by Iranian sources.
