Exciting news as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Board of Directors gear up for a pivotal visit to Türkiye from September 15 to 20. This visit will involve strategic consultations with top government officials, business leaders, and civil society organizations.
The EBRD delegation, led by Yasemin Girici, Director for Türkiye, Romania, and Azerbaijan, aims to focus on Türkiye’s southeastern region, which suffered greatly from devastating earthquakes in 2023. The EBRD has already allocated 1.5 billion euros for relief efforts, supporting businesses, individuals, SMEs, and critical infrastructure.
