Chinese Military Figure Meets with Singaporean and Cambodian Officials at Beijing Xiangshan Forum
At the 11th Beijing Xiangshan Forum in China, Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission, Zhang Youxia, held meetings with Singaporean Defense Minister Ng Eng Hen and Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Tea Seiha.
During the discussions, Zhang emphasized the importance of maintaining frequent high-level exchanges between China and Singapore, as well as deepening cooperation in various areas. Ng reaffirmed Singapore’s commitment to the one-China principle and expressed willingness to contribute to peace and stability in the South China Sea.
In the meeting with Seiha, Zhang highlighted the readiness of the Chinese military to strengthen ties with Cambodia and enhance strategic communication. Seiha echoed the sentiment, expressing Cambodia’s dedication to collaborating with other parties to uphold peace in the region.
The engagements at the forum underscore the efforts of these nations to foster relationships and promote security in the Asia-Pacific region.
