Zhang Youxia, vice chairman of the Central Military Commission, met with Singaporean Defense Minister Ng Eng Hen and Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Tea Seiha in Beijing during the 11th Beijing Xiangshan Forum.
Zhang expressed the desire for enhanced military exchanges and cooperation with Singapore, while Ng reaffirmed Singapore’s commitment to the one-China principle and willingness to contribute to peace in the South China Sea.
Regarding Cambodia, Zhang highlighted the readiness for increased communication and cooperation, with Seiha expressing Cambodia’s willingness to collaborate with others to maintain peace in the South China Sea.
The meetings underscore the importance of regional security cooperation and diplomatic relations in contributing to stability and peace in the Asia-Pacific region.
