Mohan Bhagwat to return to Delhi’s Keshav Kunj Office after 8 years on Sept 17

The RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat is set to move into Keshav Kunj, the original address of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in Delhi, coinciding with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday on September 17. After years of staying at the Udasin Ashram, Bhagwat will now occupy the top floor of a new 12-storey building near Jhandewalan temple.

The new office complex consists of three towers, with the middle tower housing the residence and office of the Sarsanghchalak. The building also accommodates top functionaries of the organization and the offices of RSS publications like Panchajanya and Organiser.

With modern amenities like ample parking space, CCTV surveillance, and a small hospital, the new office symbolizes the evolution of RSS with changing times. The security is tight with CISF personnel manning entry gates and evaluating potential risks.

The transition marks a significant milestone in the legacy of RSS, as each chief from Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar to Mohan Bhagwat has resided at Keshav Kunj. The modernization reflects the organization’s adaptability and progressive outlook in today’s era.
