Global Ikhwan group, the company at the center of a child sex case in Malaysia, has denied allegations of abuse of hundreds of minors. Malaysian police rescued 402 boys and girls from homes in Selangor and Negeri Sembilan believed to be owned by the group where victims faced sexual and physical abuse. Global Ikhwan Services and Business Holdings (GISBH) refuted the accusations, attributing them to parties with ulterior motives.
The company emphasized that the shelters where the abuse allegedly occurred were not under its management and stated adherence to Islamic sharia and national laws. Known as a cult and linked to the banned group Al Arqam, Global Ikhwan faces scrutiny for its practices.
