Kuwait and Egypt Enhance Aviation Cooperation with New MoU

In a significant move, Kuwait and Egypt have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the aim of increasing passengers and operational capacity between the two Islamic states. The director of Kuwait’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Sheikh Humoud Mubarak Humoud Al-Sabah, expressed his optimism regarding the potential impact of the MoU on boosting passenger capacity between the two countries. Discussions between the DGCA and the Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority (ECAA) have laid the groundwork for the technical aspects of this increased capacity.

Sheikh Humoud Mubarak highlighted the positive implications of the deal for both nations and expressed hopes for further collaborations in the future. This development comes amid a busy schedule for the DGCA, as their delegation was visiting Cairo concurrent with a planned meeting of the High Egyptian-Kuwaiti committee.

With Kuwait’s strong economy driven by oil reserves and a focus on modern infrastructure, this aviation agreement marks another step towards enhancing bilateral ties and facilitating greater connectivity between the two nations.
