California Terrorists Charged with Plotting Race War and Assassinations
Two leaders of the transnational terrorist and white supremacist group known as Terrorgram, Dallas Humber and Matthew Allison, were charged by the U.S. Justice Department for allegedly planning to ignite a race war in the United States and plotting to kill “high value” targets, including a Jewish senator.
Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco stated that the leaders of Terrorgram posed a threat to public safety and the rule of law, using the Telegram platform to spread their heinous white supremacist ideology and solicit hate crimes and terrorist attacks. Humber and Allison face a 15-count indictment, including charges of soliciting hate crimes, soliciting the murder of federal officials, and conspiring to support terrorists.
The indictment revealed that the leaders of Terrorgram spread personal information of their targets and provided instructions for making bombs. Their ideology called for extreme violence to ignite a race war and bring down the government.
The FBI investigation found that acts of violence were inspired by Terrorgram, including a shooting outside a gay bar in Slovakia and a stabbing near a mosque in Turkey. The group’s influence extended globally, leading to tragic outcomes.
