Police chase in Acharnes ends with two arrests and one injured individual.
Following a high-speed police pursuit in Acharnes, East Attica, two individuals were arrested on Wednesday. The chase began after police were alerted to a stolen vehicle outside Acharnes Town Hall. The pursuit involved the OPKE crime prevention unit and DIAS motorcycle units, reaching a critical point on the Kalyftaki Bridge.
The driver rammed a patrol car, escaped briefly, but eventually crashed into a streetlight and landed in a residential building courtyard. Two individuals are in custody, and one civilian sustained injuries.
