The Nigerian Army, led by General Officer Commanding 6 Division, Maj-Gen Jamal Abdussalam, is committed to recovering military equipment and arms stolen from the Okuama community in Delta State. This pledge was made during the inauguration of newly renovated transit accommodation for soldiers at the 3 Battalion in Effurun.

The accommodation, donated by Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, owned by Tompolo, includes 68 rooms, 18 bathrooms, and three central kitchens. Maj-Gen Abdussalam emphasized the importance of recovering the stolen arms and commended TSSNL for their support.

The project aims to boost troop morale and address their critical needs, aligning with the vision of Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Taoreed Lagbaja. The GOC highlighted the significance of strong leadership and unity in achieving collective goals.

Managing Director of TSSNL, Mr Kestin Pondi, expressed gratitude to the Nigerian Army for their support in protecting against oil theft. The transit accommodation serves as a comfortable facility for soldiers on transfer, symbolizing the strong partnership between the military and private security firms.
