The Special Prosecutor’s Office of Kosovo has filed an indictment against 45 individuals, including Milan Radoičić, for their involvement in a terrorist attack on Kosovo Police in Banjska last September. The government in Pristina condemned the attack as an act of terrorism.
During the attack in Banjska, an armed group of Serbs clashed with the police, resulting in the death of policeman Afrim Bunjaku and three Serbian attackers. Milan Radoičić, a former politician and businessman from northern Kosovo, claimed responsibility for the attack and is currently believed to be in Serbia.
While both Kosovo and Serbian authorities are investigating the incident, Kosovo has taken the initial step by filing an indictment. Three individuals have been detained in Kosovo in relation to the attack, with an international Interpol warrant issued for Radoičić at the request of Kosovo through UNMIK.
