Adviser to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister on Information & Public Relations, Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, revealed on a Geo News program that the federal government thrived on the strained relationship between PTI and the establishment. He accused the government of exploiting this discord for political gain, even at the expense of national security. Saif highlighted how government leaders would use issues related to the establishment to their advantage, creating tension between PTI and the establishment.
Discussing recent events, Saif explained how police intervention at a PTI rally led to clashes, illustrating the impact of a charged political environment on speeches made by party leaders. He also addressed the mysterious disappearance of KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, clarifying that the situation arose due to security-related discussions with the establishment.
Despite these challenges, Saif asserted that PTI’s stance on political discussions with the establishment remained firm, emphasizing that any interactions would not benefit the party in the current political climate.
