19-year-old man killed at home in Adelaide west

A 19-year-old man was brutally murdered in a planned attack at his home in Adelaide’s west, as per police reports. The incident took place on Carey Avenue in Seaton when the power to the house was cut off, luring the victim outside where he was viciously assaulted by at least one person. The attacker used a large knife to inflict fatal wounds on the victim, Scot Phillips, who succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Despite swift medical attention, Phillips could not be saved. The attacker escaped on foot, leaving behind a trail of terror.

The alleged attacker was captured on CCTV but remains unidentified. Police are seeking any information or footage from witnesses to assist in solving the case. Major Crime officers and detectives are currently investigating the matter while urging the public to come forward with any relevant details.
