The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s factions carried out a mass abduction of employees from 12 international transport offices in Aden. The STC forces closed the offices and took the employees to a prison, claiming they were imposing illegal fees.

The transport offices condemned the actions as provocative and illegal, urging the government loyal to the Saudi-led coalition to protect their rights. The international transport offices in Aden expressed their discontent with the abductions and office closures by the STC factions.
