Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur mysteriously disappeared after the recent PTI power show in Sangjani. Following raids and arrests of party leaders, Gandapur was found holed up in Islamabad. Concerns grew as he remained out of contact with provincial leadership, leading to fears of his possible arrest.
However, the KP CM reappeared in Peshawar after several hours, and was confirmed to have returned to his residence safely. The PTI’s media cell reported the arrest of 12 party leaders, including prominent figures like Barrister Gohar Ali Khan. The arrests, which occurred late at night, sparked concerns and tensions within the party.
As the situation unfolded, PTI leaders like Zain Qureshi and Zartaj Gul sought refuge in the Parliament House to avoid arrest. Law enforcement agencies continued to monitor the residences and offices of these leaders in anticipation of further arrests.
