Mustafa Kamal Criticizes Parliament’s Behavior
Mustafa Kamal, representing MQM, expressed his disapproval of the recent events in Parliament during a session on Tuesday. He called out the undemocratic speeches and behavior witnessed the night before and urged Speaker Ayaz Sadiq to uphold the dignity of the house.
Questioning the nature of the speeches made at public gatherings, Kamal emphasized the need for respectful discourse that does not target individuals or institutions. He cautioned against the consequences of unchecked power and advised PTI to use their popularity responsibly.
Reminding both the government and opposition of their shared responsibility towards the country, Kamal urged for collaboration and consensus-building. He stressed the importance of halting personal attacks and focusing on constructive dialogue for the benefit of the nation.
