A leading maritime services company announced a new liner service connecting Jeddah Islamic Port in the Red Sea to India’s major commercial ports – Mundra and Nhava Sheva.
Folk Maritime Services Company will launch a 10-day facility with two vessels in September, boosting trade ties by facilitating cargo movement between India and Saudi Arabia.
The company has signed a Vessel Sharing Agreement with Oman’s Asayd for the new route, aiming to enhance bilateral trade.
CEO Poul Hestbaek highlighted the significance of the new India Redsea Service in promoting trade and achieving Saudi Vision 2030 goals.
This new route signifies the strengthening of ties between Saudi Arabia and India, building on previous high-level visits and strategic partnerships.
The service is expected to create long-term value for customers and contribute to global logistics hub ambitions.
Folk Maritime plans to expand its fleet and coverage, offering enhanced services to regional trades and global markets.
