Zelenskyy names new officials, advisers to presidential office

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has made new appointments to the presidential office, continuing a massive government reshuffle. Former Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk and former governor Viktor Mykyta have been appointed as deputy heads of the presidential office, according to two decrees published on the presidential office website.

Additionally, former Strategic Industries Minister Oleksandr Kamyshin and Dmytro Lytvyn have been appointed as advisers to the president on strategic issues and communications, respectively, in two more decrees.

These appointments mark the largest government reshuffle since the start of the Ukraine war in February 2022, which also saw the appointment of nine new ministers. President Zelenskyy’s latest moves are aimed at strengthening the government and ensuring effective communication and strategic decision-making during this challenging time in Ukraine.
