In a meeting in Damascus, Minister of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection Mohsen Abdul Karim Ali discussed with Pakistani Ambassador Shahid Akhtar and a delegation of Pakistani businessmen ways to enhance trade exchange between Syria and Pakistan. The Minister expressed a commitment to overcoming obstacles and providing cooperation to benefit both countries. He also mentioned the Ministry’s readiness to explore cooperation ideas, including the possibility of product exchanges through the barter system.
Ambassador Akhtar emphasized the importance of strengthening relations with Syria for the mutual interests of both nations. A delegation of 21 Pakistani businessmen recently visited Syria to discuss economic cooperation and potential joint investments between the two countries.
This meeting signifies a step towards increasing collaboration and trade relations between Syria and Pakistan, highlighting the commitment of both parties to fostering a beneficial partnership.
