Exploring Academic Collaboration: Luiss School of Law and ADA University
President of the Luiss School of Law, Professor Paola Severino, recently sat down with Trend for an insightful interview. Discussing the ongoing collaboration between Luiss and ADA University within the Italy-Azerbaijan University Initiative, Professor Severino highlighted the key areas of cooperation.
Initiated in 2019, the partnership led to the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between ADA University and five Italian Universities for the establishment of an Italy-Azerbaijan University. Luiss is actively engaged in providing expertise in Social Sciences, particularly in Global Management, Political Science, and “Made in Italy”. The ultimate goal is to develop an innovative interdisciplinary program that combines the best practices of ‘Made in Italy’ with a focus on creating, managing, and promoting the ‘Made in Azerbaijan’ label.
Not only limited to academic programs, the collaboration extends to faculty training, mobility of academic advisors, and administrative officers. The exchange of best practices and teaching methodologies aims to harmonize visions between the institutions.
The current active academic program, Global Management and Politics – Made in Azerbaijan, equips students with essential skills to navigate global issues effectively. With a strong foundation in social sciences and practical project works, students are prepared to tackle global challenges confidently.
Looking ahead, there are plans for further cooperation in student mobility programs within the Law field and discussions on governance rules, organizational models, and prevention of maladministration. The partnership continues to foster a dynamic exchange of knowledge and expertise, enriching the academic landscape for students and faculty alike.
