Millions of Yemenis flooded the streets of Sana’a and other provinces to denounce Israel’s attacks on Gaza and stand in solidarity with the Palestinians. Over 70 mass protests were held across multiple cities, with participants waving Yemeni and Palestinian flags while chanting slogans of support.
Under the theme “Birth of the Prophet of Guidance… Call for Support for Gaza and Al-Aqsa,” the demonstrations coincided with the upcoming anniversary of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad. A statement issued in Sana’a condemned Israel’s actions in Gaza, as well as its supporters in the West.
The Yemeni people vowed to continue their million marches until Gaza achieves victory, showing unwavering support for Palestinian rights. The number of pro-Palestinian rallies is expected to reach 363 in various locations.
Yemen’s armed forces have affirmed their commitment to retaliatory actions against Israel’s aggression, with Ansarullah’s leader criticizing Arab countries for their passive stance. He praised Houthi naval operations against ships linked to Israel and hinted at future strategic moves.
Yemeni support for Palestine remains strong, with a firm resolve to push back against Israeli aggression and stand in solidarity with the Palestinian cause.
