In a shocking incident in Muzaffargarh, a woman schoolteacher was allegedly raped, blackmailed, and extorted of Rs5 million by a man and his accomplices. The prime suspect, identified as ‘J’, promised to arrange US visas for the victim and her family in exchange for money, leading to the extortion and subsequent blackmail.
The victim stated in the FIR that ‘J’ raped her and made objectionable videos, which were later used for extortion. The suspects demanded more money, threatening to upload the videos on social media if their demands were not met.
Another case in Kot Sultan involved blackmail and torture by suspects using CCTV footage of a woman and her daughter. The victims faced threats and violence when they refused to comply with the suspects’ demands.
Both cases highlight the pervasiveness of crimes against women and the urgent need for law enforcement to take action. The victims have demanded justice and protection from the authorities.
