The Palestinian Liberation Organization Condemns Killing of Turkish-American Activist by Israel
The Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) has strongly condemned the killing of Turkish-American activist Aysenur Ezgi Eygi by Israeli forces. The PLO described the incident as an attempt to suppress supporters of Palestinian causes and intimidate those who oppose the Israeli occupation.
According to the PLO, the killing of Eygi underscores the brutality of the Israeli occupation and its violence against innocent civilians. The organization held Tel Aviv responsible for the death of Eygi, calling for international pressure to stop Israel’s violations of international laws and agreements.
Eygi was shot dead while participating in a protest against settlement expansion in the West Bank. The PLO’s Secretary-General called for the Israeli military to face trial in international courts for what he described as another crime committed by occupation forces.
The international community, including Turkey, the US, and the UN, have also condemned the killing of Eygi. The incident has escalated tensions in the region, with Israel continuing its brutal onslaught on Gaza and facing criticism for its occupation of Palestinian land.
