Thousands of protesters rallied in London demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and a halt in arms supply to Israel amid the genocidal conflict in the region.

Protesters gathered at Piccadilly Circus and marched to the Israeli Embassy, waving Palestinian flags and chanting slogans for peace. They called on the British government to intervene and stop the ongoing violence that has claimed over 40,000 lives.

The UK recently announced a partial ban on arms exports to Israel, following criticism of its involvement in the conflict. The Foreign Secretary warned of the risk of British weapons being used to harm innocent Palestinians.

This decision comes after sustained protests across the UK against arming Israel and the quiet shipments of arms to the regime. Tens of thousands have taken to the streets demanding peace and an end to the violence.

Israel’s brutal war on Gaza has resulted in thousands of casualties, with millions displaced. The global community continues to push for a resolution to the conflict.
