FG launches major police recruitment campaign.

The Federal Government has promised to equip the Nigeria Police Force with modern resources for effective performance, as stated by President Bola Tinubu at the graduation ceremony of 478 students from the Nigeria Police Academy in Kano State. The President emphasized the need for professionalism and zero tolerance for corruption in their duties.

Tinubu highlighted the ongoing recruitment efforts to empower the youth in national security, urging the new officers to uphold the ethics of modern policing and prioritize the nation’s interests. He assured continued government support for the academy, renowned as a top training ground in Sub-Saharan Africa.

The President urged the graduands to serve with compassion, integrity, and professionalism, reminding them that they are the face of the police service. The Commandant of the Academy, AIG Sadiq Abubakar, praised the graduates’ readiness to enhance national security and acknowledged the government’s investment in their training accreditation.
