The Rajasthan government recently undertook a major administrative reshuffle, transferring over 100 IAS officers including divisional commissioners and collectors. The Department of Personnel released an order on Thursday night transferring 96 officers while 10 IAS officers awaiting posting were also given new assignments.
Notably, Additional Chief Secretary (Finance) Akhil Arora and Principal Secretary of Home Department Anand Kumar retained their positions amidst the shuffle. Arora has been in charge of the finance department since the Congress rule, while Kumar has been with the Home Department since 2022.
The reshuffle saw changes in divisional commissioners, including those of Jaipur and Banswara, as well as collectors in 13 districts, including Jaipur. This move is expected to bring in fresh perspectives and streamline administrative processes in the state.
