Investigation begins for deadly Van Rhyns Pass bus crash

Published by

Tragedy struck in the Western Cape as a bus accident claimed the lives of 10 construction workers, sparking investigations into the cause of the incident. The bus has been removed for a thorough examination to determine what led to the tragedy. The Western Cape mobility minister urged the public not to speculate until the investigations are complete, out of respect for the injured and the families of the deceased.

The owner of the bus, Toriod Williams, shared his devastation as one of the victims was his driver. He maintained that the vehicle was in good condition and had all the necessary permits and insurance. The passengers, seasonal workers from Keimoes, were on their way to Ceres when the accident occurred.

Expressions of sadness and condolences poured in from various officials and agencies, all focused on providing support and dignity to the affected families. This is a challenging time for everyone involved, and the community is urged to come together in support.
