The Republican Jewish Coalition’s political campaign arm has revolutionized its data operations by creating the only reliable voter file of Jewish voters in the country, according to CEO Matt Brooks. Previously, such a voter file targeting Jewish voters didn’t exist, but the coalition has been quietly building it up over the past few years.
RJC has staff in key battleground states like Nevada, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Arizona, rating Jewish voters as likely Trump supporters, lean Trump voters, persuadables, and never Trump voters. The focus is on turning out these voters on election day through various tactics such as digital ads, TV, mail, text, phone, door knocking, and canvassing.
Ari Fleischer, RJC board member and former press secretary under President George W. Bush, highlighted the changing landscape of American Jewry, noting a growing trend of Jewish Republican support over the years. He emphasized the palpable fear among American Jews due to current events, leading to a potential shift in voting patterns.
Fleischer predicts a significant increase in Jewish support for Trump, possibly exceeding 30%, especially in battleground states. The campaign cycle this year is unique, with heightened attention from the Jewish community towards Republican platforms.
