In a recent visit to the Nazaat region, Rear Admiral Alireza Tangsiri, the commander of the IRGC Navy, emphasized Iran’s message of friendship, brotherhood, and unity to its neighbors and Muslim countries. He highlighted the importance of standing against external enemies and foreigners in the region, stating that their presence only leads to division and sedition.
The Nazaat Islands, including Greater Tunb, Lesser Tunb, Abu Musa, and Sirri near the Strait of Hormuz, play a crucial role in maintaining security in the Gulf region, as per Tangsiri. During his visit, he evaluated the operational readiness of defense units on the islands and around the strait.
Tangsiri reaffirmed Iran’s commitment to fostering positive relationships with neighboring countries and stressed the need for unity and solidarity in the face of external threats. The IRGC Navy is dedicated to protecting the region and standing strong against any attempts to sow discord.
