Falklands Community Survey on Equality and Discrimination
The Falkland Islands Government has launched the Community Views survey on equality and discrimination in the Falkland Islands.
The survey, which started on Wednesday, aims to gather views, perceptions, and experiences of discrimination in the Falkland Islands. The insights gathered will support efforts to promote inclusivity, fairness, and enhance access to opportunities throughout the community. Additionally, the survey findings will inform initiatives to modernize national equalities law, policies, and protect the community from discriminatory practices.
All community members are encouraged to participate in the survey to influence the creation of a more equitable environment where everyone feels respected and supported.
The survey will be open from September 4 to October 30, 2024. It can be accessed online at www.falklands.gov.fk/policy/consultations. Paper copies are also available at the Post Office and Christie Community Library for submission.
