US Presses Charges Against Hamas Leaders in Symbolic Move

As the US seeks to mediate a ceasefire in Gaza, the decision to charge Hamas’s leaders has been met with criticism. Rami Khouri, a fellow at the American University of Beirut, believes it undermines the US’s role as a neutral mediator and highlights its bias towards Israel.
While the US attempts to hold Hamas accountable, critics argue that it fails to address Israel’s actions and may be complicit in the violence in Gaza. The move raises questions about the US’s impartiality in the conflict.
